Cons:

  • The Best Grand Cherokee ever? - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep really knocked one out with this Grand Cherokee. Every aspect of this Jeep is notches above the model it replaces. Most impressive is the trucks ride and handling. Smoother and less body roll. Makes you believe youre driving something alot more expensive.

  • This is our 4th Jeep Cherokee - No More! - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Purchased 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD new with 22 miles on it. We are repeat buyers but this car is pitiful. Has 16,000 miles on it and repairs so far are drivers seat broken twice, rear window wiper motor replaced, transmission is now being replaced and still waiting 3 weeks for the parts. We were told poor engineering design put a/c drain hose into the transmission fluid! Knew something was wrong from beginning as it never shifted right at low speeds. Very unhappy with this product and will not purchase another Jeep even after owning four and do not recommend it.

  • Can you say HEMI? - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Attracted to the sleek lines, tried the HEMI and there was no looking back. This is definitely the best SUV that I have ever driven. From Rovers to Hummers. There is no comparison to hitting the accelerator of the HEMI and being driven back in the seat! You have to drive it to believe it.

  • Is this a Jeep? - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Have owned a Cherokee, Wrangler, and driven the Libertys. If you took the Jeep logo off the steering wheel, I would think I was driving a higher priced SUV! Jeep has finally gotten something going here. Drove a 2004, thought it was nice, but the 2005 is a dramatic increase in ride quality, handling and performance. The 6 is nice, with decent fuel economy (better then my Wrangler was). The Laredo is a nice package, have turned many heads with it. No more cheap plastic on the bottom on the body. Jeep has added many luxury features that enhance the experience.

  • My New SUV - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

An excellent automobile, and quite a bit better than even the 2004 which I had. It is super quiet, powerful and smooth riding. It is a quality automobile.

  • Great riding SUV - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
    By -

First Jeep product Ive ever owned. So far, very happy with the JGC. Ride is very smooth, I have the 4.7 L v8 and has good response. Probably should have bought the HEMI but 4.7 is just fine. Best riding SUV Ive ever had and quiet too. 10000 times better riding than my old Ford Explorer.

I have had the truck a year and a half. Its been a very good experience. It drives nice; however on turns I dont feel as if I have total control of the truck. Of course I am going 50-70 on turns but I still dont feel that the reliability on turns is there. In the snow the truck is a machine; I dont even have to plow or shovel -- just go right over it with no problem.

  • Nice Comfortable Ride - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Bought the Jeep in Las Vegas, NV and drove it home to NJ. It was a fun ride, making a stop in Chicago, IL. Very smooth ride, accelerated well, gas on the highway was very efficient and the sound system was excellent. I love my Jeep.

This is my 3rd Jeep. "89 Cherokee 4.0L- great vehicle/99 GC LTD. 4.7L-just OK/"05 GC LTD. 5.7L Hemi is wonderful vehicle. My wife and I take several 600+ mile trips per year and wouldnt think of driving anything else. Just replaced tires and brakes after 47000 miles and have had no other quality or repair issues. Took a vacation with another couple and fit all luggage and golf bags in storage area. My friend begged to drive after first time at the wheel. My other vehicle is a 04 300M and that car has been grat as well. I will have no problem purchasing another Chrysler product.

  • First Time - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
    By -

After owning an Expedition, a few Tahoes, Range Rover and an Infiniti FX45, I settled on a Jeep as my next SUV. Frankly, the huge factory incentives were a big part of my decision. Great job on the part of Jeep, because I really like this truck. Excellent lines, great interior setup and controls, love the Hemi, Navigation system and the reliability and dealer service has been better than I expected.
